User Experience Designer at Mercatus Technologies (formerly Springboard Networks) designing integrated commerce solutions for the retail grocery industry.

  • Lead the UX for consumer facing applications on web, iOS and Android.
  • Define the UX for all Platform management web-based components including those for managing coupons, flyers, products, customers, online and special orders.

Senior Interface Specialist for an education solutions provider. I’ve participated in the development of a large number for projects including: Skill Management Environment, a skills assessment platform for individuals and businesses; SiteBuilder, a course marketing website development and management tool; Registrar, an education provider registration management tool; and various end-user education search and enrollment tools. Projects were developed in a UNIX environment, by small teams with aggressive timelines.

I was first hired by Symantec as an Online Content Developer in 1998 to develop product related content. In 1999 I was offered the Web Interface Designer position for the global Web site.

Web Interface Designer with responsibilities for the design or redesign of key sections on the global Web site, including the corporate homepage. Highlights include:

  • Redesign top level areas on the Web site to visually articulate Symantec’s new Internet security strategy.
  • Develop interim solutions to improve overall site navigation, usability and regional awareness.
  • Develop implementation guidelines, navigation maps and wireframes to communicate new standards to publishers and regional stakeholders.
  • Participate as part of strategic teams to plan future direction of the Web site.

Online Content Developer supporting well known products such as Act!, pcAnywhere and Winfax. Highlights include:
