- I was hired by this California based company as User Interface designer. I was part of a newly formed product development team, with team members based in Los Angeles and Toronto with other team members working remotely.
RemoteView Portal
The RemoteView Portal is a Web-based tool to allow System Integrators to monitor multiple client networks remotely. The product was based on an integration of various best of breed tools including HP OpenView’s Network Node Manager, WebQos, ServiceDesk and Norton AntiVirus. The importance of the interface in this instance was the need to unify the presentation, workflow and logic of how disparate information was presented to the user to be acted upon.
RemoteView Messenger
Part of a Skill Assessments platform, MyCareer is a flexible web-based application developed to enable individuals to purchase and complete a series of skill certification tests toward the achievement of a specific Job Role Certification.
Corporate Homepage
I was involved in the redesign of RemoteNet’s corporate branding, development of the new corporate Web site to support the product offering and new business model. This site was intended to be an interim solution to ease out the use the old logo and colours, and ease in the new.
